Parker's promotional company published a communique which read: "The anti-doping body notified all required parties about Parker returned an adverse finding after an anti-doping test carried out on the fight day. While the matter is investigated, no more comments will be made at this time."
Joseph Parker became titleholder in 2016 prior to he surrendered the WBO title via unanimous decision versus Anthony Joshua in Wales two years later.
